questionsanswers

What methods of payment do you accept?
Currently I am able to accept cash in person. Credit cards and e-checks are acceptable forms of payment through my website only at this time. Clients are welcome to pay either way, but e-checks must be cleared before we begin training unless there are special circumstances.

Are credit card payments on your website secure?
My website accepts payments via PayPal. Paypal is one of the most popular payment mechanisms on the internet. They keep your information so secure that even I will never have access to your credit card numbers.

Do I need to have a Paypal account in order to pay via credit card?
Absolutely not. Just click the link on the payment page that says "Don't have a PayPal Account?"

Where in Las Vegas would we be training together?
I train my clients in a private gym (only open to personal trainers) known as Body Sport Fitness. It is located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas just north of Summerlin Expressway Inside Las Vegas Sport Park.

Will I have to pay a gym membership fee to train there?
The gym will not charge you a membership fee, you only need to pay the personal trainer fee.

Why don't you train your clients at a public gym?
I feel like a private environment is more comfortable for many clients. It also makes better use of our time together because we don't spend it waiting in lines to use equipment. This way you can get an optimal work out. Also, corporate gyms require many things of a personal trainer... a private gym allows me to work FOR MY CLIENTS only.

How do I know if I need a personal trainer?
If you can't stick to an exercise program on your own, don't have the time or motivation to go to the gym regularly or are not comfortable in a traditional gym environment then personal training may be right for you. A personal trainer can be helpful even if you do go to the gym regularly but aren't seeing the results you want.

What are your qualifications?
I am a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer. I have been interested in fitness and nutritional health since I was in the Marine Corps after which I became a CPT so I could work in a private school helping overweight teenagers lead a healthier lifestyle. After moving to Las Vegas I gave up my career in engineering to continue to persue my love for helping people change their lives through fitness.

What will you actually do?
I will meet with you and find out as much about your lifestyle and goals as possible. Then, when we're explicitly clear on what you hope to obtain, I will design a training program for you and show you exactly how to do everything you need to do. I will also design or recommend a full nutrition regimen that fits into your lifestyle and will help you achieve your goals as I understand them. Although most typical training sessions only last an hour, I will teach you about what you need to do when I am not around so you are working towards your fitness goals all the time.

What kind of results should I expect?
It really depends on how much effort you put into your training program. It is important to remember that you will only be in the gym with me 1-3 hours per week, so what will make you or break you is what you choose to do when you're NOT with me (and I will provide you with that information). Of course, the closer you follow the lifestyle developed for you, the better results you will have.

How often will you change my fitness program?
I will constantly change your training program to keep your body guessing and to keep you from getting bored. As your body adapts, your program will progress to ensure that you keep making strides toward your goals.
